Most diamonds of gem quality vary in shade from colorless to yellow.



To determine the correct color, all submitted diamonds are compared to an internationally accepted master set of stones, the color of which ranges from D, or colorless (the most sought after) to Z, the yellowest.


Other colors occur in diamonds such as brown, orange, pink, blue, etc. The most intense of these shades are determined as "Fancy" colors and referenced on the IGI Diamond Report.

Ruby - Manik (Sun Gemstone)

Ruby (Manik) is the gemstone of planet Sun(Surya), the strongest planet in the solar system. The Sun rules our physical health and vitality and determines our self of ego and self-projection in the world. A strong Sun makes a person very energetic and the center of attention.

Procedure Of Wearing Ruby (Manik): 

• Minimum weight of Ruby should be 3 carets (600 mg).
• Ruby should be wear in center/ Ring finger of working hand.
• Ruby must touch your fingure skin.
• Dip the ring into gangajal or cow milk at least 10 min before wearing.
• Wear ring on Sunday during the ascending moon cycle(Shukal paksha) near sunrise time.
• Recite "OM SURYAYA NAMAHA" mantra while wearing the ring.
• Ruby ring bottom should be cleaned regularly as dust deposited at the bottom, minimize the Ruby effects.

Ruby originating countries:  Ruby is found in Burma, Thailand, Sri Lanka, East Africa, Kenya, Nepal, Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. The best Rubies are from the Magok district of Burma. Thai Rubies are comparatively less attractive and the Rubies found in Sri Lanka are pink.
